Important
Medical Aid integration does not mean acuteMed submits the consultation directly to your Medical Aid for payment. acuteMed requires payment upfront. After payment, you receive a detailed invoice and can submit it to your Medical Aid to claim reimbursement.
“Your Medical Aid benefits can be checked in real time; however, acuteMed requires upfront payment. You will receive a detailed invoice to claim back from your Medical Aid.”
Reimbursement is subject to your Medical Aid’s rules, available benefits and tariff arrangements. acuteMed cannot guarantee reimbursement.
Consultation fees exclude all procedures and treatments.
Medication, consumables, X-rays, blood tests and any additional procedures or treatments are charged separately.
After payment, you will receive a detailed invoice that you may submit to your Medical Aid to claim reimbursement.
