What to Expect and Preparation
When you arrive for your heart check, a healthcare professional will clean specific areas on your chest, arms, and legs to ensure optimal electrode contact. Small, sticky sensors will be attached, and you will be asked to lie still for a few minutes while the machine records the electrical activity of your heart; the process is entirely painless and non-invasive. To ensure the most accurate results, please avoid applying body lotions or oils to your chest on the day of your visit, and wear comfortable, two-piece clothing that allows easy access to your torso.
